Vote: Should Tim Tebow Be Selected to the Pro Bowl This Season? – NESN Daily –

Tim Tebow is a polarizing quarterback, but he's also a winner. And after leading the Broncos to another come-from-behind victory on Sunday, he's making a case to be considered an NFL Pro Bowler.

The Broncos still have three games left on the schedule, one of which is against New England, but they currently sit atop the AFC West with an 8-5 record. While the defense has been extremely impressive lately, Tebow's fourth-quarter magic is undeniable.

The Broncos are 7-1 since Tebow took over as Denver's starting quarterback, and are in the midst of a six-game winning streak. Three of those wins have come in overtime, as Tebow continues to elevate his play down the stretch in games.

But are Tebow's contributions enough to warrant a Pro Bowl selection?

He hasn't really posted big numbers this season, throwing for 1,290 yards, 11 touchdowns and two interceptions in the nine games in which he's appeared. he threw for a season-high 236 yards on Sunday, finishing 21 of 40, while also rushing 12 times for 49 yards.

The second-year pro has rushed 94 times for 517 yards and three touchdowns this season, and has fumbled seven times (losing five). his completion percentage sits at under 50 percent.

Tebow has completely changed the way the Broncos run their offense. While his 40 attempts against the Bears are far and away his highest total this season and a new career-high, it's obvious Denver has become more of a running team. in fact, Tebow threw the ball just eight times in the Broncos' Week 10 win over the Chiefs, not completing a pass until the third quarter and finishing with just two completions and 69 passing yards.

Because of his ability to pull out wins for a team that was sitting at 1-4 when he took over, there are some who feel Tebow is a legitimate MVP candidate. While that may be a stretch, should we at least be prepared to see Tebow in Honolulu?
