Im 15 and i need a job and i live in Long island what job could i get and is it even possible to get one??
IT is possible. you have to have a 14-15 year old working card. The problem is that the labor laws are so strict for 14-15 year olds regarding the hours you can work, what time and what you can do. you can use equipemtn that cooks, cuts or fires, can't use cardboard bailers.
Your best bet, sad to say it, is fast food and be willing to work weekends. when you're 16-17, the working permit becomes a little more lax.

Our Long Island high school athletes in track and field have proven to be among the best in new York State. it is with great disappointment that Nassau County’s Mitchel Athletic Complex, once considered “The World’s biggest Stage, a showcase for the best competition the world has ever seen…,” [Goodwill Games] has let the field events deteriorate to the point of forcing our high school athletes and other famous high profile meets to seek other venues for their competition.
The mats for pole vault and high jump were left outside all winter. they were infested with rats and had to be condemned by coaches.
After several complaints these mats were finally removed, but not replaced. Since there are no mats for these events, the pole vault and high jump cannot be contested at this site.
The revenue that has been lost and continues to be lost through Nassau County’s negligence could have helped restore these fields and bring back our athletes so that we can once again be considered “The World’s biggest Stage” for track and field.

‘Long Island Ripper’ may be linked to old murders
The hunt for a suspected serial killer in Long Island took a dramatic new turn yesterday when the discovery of eight bodies were linked to murders of four prostitutes in Atlantic City, in neighbouring new Jersey, in 2006.
Long Island residents were put on alert after police this week found the remains of four murder victims on a lonely beachfront road where the decomposed bodies of four others – all identified as female prostitutes – were found last December.
A police spokesman said officers would return on Monday to the same area of scrub close to Oak Beach on a barrier island barely 50 miles east of Manhattan that appears to have been the killer’s dumping ground. the county police are tight-lipped about the case, but there was word of a possible link between this alleged killer – dubbed the ‘Long Island Ripper’ by the new York Post – and the unsolved murders in Atlantic City.
Contacts were established with detectives in new Jersey after it emerged that one victim lived on Long Island shortly before she was murdered in Atlantic City. Kim Raffo, who had a history of turning tricks and drug abuse, travelled there by bus after a row with her husband.

two years ago while on the way to school, my bus made a quick left and a car slammed into our end. the car was stuck underneath the bus and i remember looking back and a women got out and a man was still in the car… now i live in sufflok county on long island and i checked news 12.com to see if i can find anything.. at the time i was in 8th grade and this was in 2005 .. and i remember it was around october or november.. what i want to see now is if the people were allright or if they died or anything. how do i look up the accident ..
