PS3 Games – Two Sides of the Same Coin
What’s up everyone? it is just the time for some fun and real frolic to dust off the tiredness and stress of your job. I am talking about PlayStation 3, the latest console from Sony entertaining both the kids as well as the adults equally. with hectic work schedules from 9 to 11, we definitely deserve the luxury of relaxation. you can never ever get anything much better than this gaming mania. it will simply be the world where we can be the stars with nothing and absolutely nothing to worry about.
Now, let me introduce you to our new friend Mr.PS3 Games. The most adorable character about our friend is that it doesn’t include any hand held game console or mobile phones which run a completely different version of the game under the same name. it is an updatable software and operating system of PS3 that seems to be identical to PSP. The graphic used is none other than 3D computer graphics API software.
Something that is definitely guaranteed is we can watch it blossom as time goes into a machine that has something for everyone. a fact that can’t be denied is Sony electronics’ dream of PS3 has become the entertainment hub of every house today.
As everything else this too does have its pros n cons. When it helps in brain development, increases alertness and gives us a great deal of relaxation, it does produce a lot many couch potatoes too. Limiting the co curricular activities and exercise to just movement of eyeballs and fingers leaving an imprint on the couch. But this isn’t a strong enough reason to deprive the opportunity for enjoyment. The success rate has gone to an extent where media has even launched play station official magazine. you can check them online also for some great and updated news on the console. The top names you should definitely remember are:
1. Final fantasy XII walkthroughs.
2. God of war III walkthroughs
3. Dead rising 2 walkthrough.
4. Red dead redemption walkthrough.
5. Heavy rain walk through.
I would say my personal favorite is heavy rain walkthrough. try it and I assure, you will never regret it. so guys what are you waiting for? Go ahead and enter the world of PlayStation 3 games and realize what you have been missing till now. it will certainly be the world where you’ll mark your domain and leave an imprint of joy

Top Smartphone Apps for Copywriters
There’s a scene in one of my favourite books, Dance, Dance, Dance by Haruki Murakami, in which the protagonist refers to his job as a commercial writer as little more than shovelling snow. a euphemism for something someone has to do. to counter that feeling, I’ve put together a list of labour-saving smartphone writing apps that are sure to put the joy back into writing, or at the very least, make the process pain-free.
Evernote when I first started out as a copywriter, I used to keep a little book just for collecting ideas. Evernote allows you to collect your thoughts and musings while on-the-go. You can also save pictures and voice recordings to it too. and for free.
Swype and SwiftKey X We all know the keypad on a smartphone can never replace a full-sized keyboard. But download Swype or SwiftKey and you’ll be the swiftest typist in the south, or north or wherever you live. Here’s how. Swype works by letting you swipe your fingers across the keyboard to get the letters you want. it then turns those letters into the desired word. SwiftKey works on the same principle, and even suggests entire sentences based on your writing style.
Dropbox As the tagline suggests, its aim is to Simplify Your Life, which is no bad thing when you’ve a hundred pressing things to do. Dropbox lets you share large files easily and synchronise them for access on your smartphone, laptop or computer. You can also invite people to your Dropbox folder so they can access your work at every stage of the process.
Manuscript this is a great little project management tool with an in-built thesaurus and dictionary. it also has access to Wikipedia and Google. Aimed more at novel writers (no excuses for not writing that book now), it enables you to select, move, and export your work and export existing work to the app via Google docs. a raft of other features for aspiring novelists is also included.
Awesome Note this is a nice little personal organisation app that visually ticks the box. it enables the user to choose the colours, background images, fonts, and icons and annotate them with pictures or self-made drawings. Notes can appear in graphic calendar format to make your working day look as though it’s going to be a whole load of fun.

Stephen Hawking needs a new technician – Boing Boing
By David Pescovitz at 10:27 am Friday, Dec 30
Sam Blackburn is the technician who for five years kept Stephen Hawking’s communication systems running. now Hawking is looking for a new Technical Assistant. to get a sense of the job, New Scientist interviewed Blackburn.
Stephen’s voice is very distinctive, but you say there might be a problem retaining it?
I guess the most interesting thing in my office is a little grey box, which contains the only copy we have of Stephen’s hardware voice synthesizer. The card inside dates back to the 1980s and this particular one contains Stephen’s voice. There’s a processor on it which has a unique program that turns text into speech that sounds like Stephen’s, and we have only two of these cards. The company that made them went bankrupt and nobody knows how it works any more. I am trying to reverse engineer it, which is quite tricky.
Can’t you update it with a new synthesizer?
No. It has to sound exactly the same. The voice is one of the unique things that defines Stephen in my opinion. He could easily change to a voice that was clearer, perhaps more soothing to listen to – less robotic sounding – but it wouldn’t be Stephen’s voice any more.

Scholastic and Kellogg Team Up to Deliver Back-to-School Literacy Message: “Read Every Day. Lead a Better Life.”
Press Release Source: Scholastic inc. On Friday August 19, 2011, 9:25 am EDT
NEW YORK, Aug. 19, 2011 /PRNewswire/ — in today’s fast-moving, digital world, reading has never been more important and the best way to foster good reading skills is through regular practice and exposure to books in the home. To share the joy and power of daily reading with families across the United States, Scholastic is teaming up with Kellogg Company to deliver an important message about the value of reading every day along with a free book offer with the purchase of two specially marked Kellogg’s® products available exclusively in Walmart stores this fall.
“Research shows that for young people, reading is the gateway to holding a job, understanding the world and knowing themselves,” said Francie Alexander, chief academic officer at Scholastic. “Although consistent reading has been proven to build vocabulary, comprehension and fluency, too few children read regularly, much less daily.” according to the National Assessment of Educational Progress, known as the Nation’s Report Card, two-thirds of eighth graders in the United States do not read at the “proficient” level, (NAEP Reading 2009), and other studies show that students with below-grade-level reading skills are twice as likely to drop out of school as those who can read at or above grade level. (Adolescent Literacy: a National Reading Crisis).
Alexander continued, “Becoming skilled at reading, just like playing sports or learning a musical instrument, requires a lot of practice. We need to be sure that our kids are taking time every single day- ideally 20 minutes or more, to read – or for the younger ones, to be read to – in order to build skills they need to read more challenging texts in school. Allowing children to choose their own books and having a wide selection of books at home are great ways to make reading fun while guaranteeing reading success.”
Research also shows that having books in the home and reading frequently has a significant impact on improving student achievement:
- Children who grow up in homes where books are plentiful go further in school than those who don’t. Children with low-education families can do as well as children with high-education families if they have access to books at home. (Family scholarly culture and educational success: Books and schooling in 27 nations 2010)
- Ninety-one percent of children ages 6 to 17 agree with the statement, “I am more likely to finish reading a book that I have picked out myself.” (2010 Kids & Family Reading Report)
“Whether starting the day with a healthy breakfast or helping their kids learn to read, parents want to do everything they can to set their children up for success,” said Kris Charles, Kellogg global vice president Global Communication and Philanthropy, Kellogg Company. ”Through this program with Scholastic and Walmart, we at Kellogg hope to make it a little easier for parents and caregivers help their children foster a life-long love of reading.”
Families can choose from among the hundreds of titles available for $5.00 or less from Scholastic Book Clubs, including new and classic favorites such as Captain Underpants: Super Diaper Baby, Ready Freddy, Elijah of Buxton along with popular series including Clifford the Big Red Dog®, the Magic School Bus® and Goosebumps®. the more than ten million specially marked Kellogg’s® products featuring the offer include Raisin Bran®, Mini-Wheats® little Bites Original, Nutri-Grain®, Eggo®, Pop-Tarts®, Cheez-it®, Rice Krispies Treats®, Froot Loops®, Keebler®, and Frosted Mini-Wheats® Bite Size.
