3. Don’t pay! there are different ways of doing it but without knowing what ipod you have and what ios you are currently running i cannot recomend one for you. 4. apple made it legal. to jailbreak your ipod u gotta be 3.1.2 or 4.0 firmware, if u have higher u can always “downgrade” using this website, http://www.felixbruns.de/iPod/firmware/ anyway go on to SAFARI app from your ipod and go to “jailbreakme.com” and u’ll be done in less then 5 minutes. its so worth it because u can get any app from the appstore that cost money for FREE, get music on your ipod FROM your ipod. download movies that are STILL in theaters. and even get 1000+ themes for your ipod. and many more. JB is the best thing i could of ever done

5. There are people that do it for free but when it is free, it usually increases the chances of the ipod being ruined and getting a virus. There’s usually a 50 percent chance that the ipod won’t work after jailbreaking it.

6. BS, no jailbreak tool is pay-for, any that is is a total ripoff and probably doesn’t even really exist. Depending on the firmware you can do it using different stuff. 3.1.3 or below, use spirit. 4.0-4.0.1, use jailbreakme(dot)com. 4.1, use limera1n. 4.2 use redsn0w

7. there is a program called spirit… i cbf to find a link to it for you, but find it.. if your computer is hooked up to the ipod when u run it, it takes like 3 clicks to do… hope this helped
