Melodic Italian metal act Lacuna Coil have had a lengthy and successful career and they have no signs of stopping with their new single ‘Trip the Darkness.’ the band is set to release its sixth studio album ‘Dark Adrenaline’ on Jan. 24, 2012.

. on Monday Cheap Trick and Frank Zappa among top 50 American Rock Bands of all Time was a top story. here is the recap: (Gibson) We’ve nearly arrived again at that most American of holidays: the Fourth of July. In celebration of the country’s independence, and legacy of amazing bands, Gibson.com is counting down the top 50 American Rock Bands of all Time. Today they list their picks for no 41-50. here are a couple highlights:

49. Frank Zappa and the Mothers of Invention: Frank Zappa was undeniably a creative genius, and part of this genius was expressed in his ability to surround himself with unique musicians. The original Mothers of Invention encapsulated the dirtier side of the ’60s, yet were equally capable of off-key darkness (“who are the Brain Police”) and note-perfect pop (“you Didn’t Try to call Me”). Frank eventually found more musically able Mothers, but the original lineup had an almost naive charm that couldn’t be replaced.

I am a Neurology resident which means my ERAS application was “accepted” twice- once for the preliminary position and again for the advanced position. As you may already know, the personal statement is a very big part of the application. A simple case of improper syntax may be all it takes for a program director to refuse to give you an interview. I am a seasoned writer and, as a favor to my friends, have edited many personal statements in the last two years at discounted rates.
