The things young Isabella Rossi sees on her fateful trip to Rome!

She sees bodies contort into pretzels and climb walls and fling themselves across rooms, breaking restraints as they do. She sees blood and hears all manner of blood-curdling cursing in languages familiar and foreign.

and playing her in “The Devil Inside,” actress Fernanda Andrade barely bats an eye. I guess she’s grown up with exorcism movies, so nothing’s going to shock her.

if it’s January, it must be low-grade horror season. and since “The Rite” cashed in last January, why not roll out a “Blair Witch”y hand-held “We’re making a documentary about my ‘possessed’ mother” film?

The un-emotive Andrade plays a young woman whose mother killed three members of the Catholic clergy 20 years before in an American exorcism. Somehow, she was transferred to a hospital for the criminally insane in Rome, where Isabella drags filmmaker Michael (Ionut Grama) and his many video cameras to make a movie that provides Isabella with answers.

“Is it in my genes? am I going to flip out some day?”

She visits Mom (Suzan Crowley, very creepy) — alone, in her hospital room. and Mom, switching accents, rolling her eyes, showing off her collection of cross-cuts on her arms and lips, rattles Isabella (not that Andrade lets us see this).

Isabella takes in a lecture at the Vatican School for Exorcism, which is like Hogwarts without the cool scarves. She likes the healthy skepticism there, but she takes up with a couple of young true believer priests (Simon Quarterman and Evan Helmuth) who promptly invite her and Michael along on a couple of house calls.

She doesn’t take the warnings of the young Brit Ben (Quarterman) seriously.

“In all the years I’ve been in the church,” he mutters, “I’ve seen the devil way more than I’ve seen God!”

The priests lay out the four giveaways that you’re dealing with a demonic possession and not just run-of-the-mill mental illness, signs that include “aversion to holy objects” (Bibles, crucifixes, holy water), preternatural movement and strength. and then they show her the real deal, bringing a couple of lay people into deathly dangerous situations. Honestly, Father Ben, do you think Satan is listening when you shout “I want you to leave the girl out of this?”

It’s a profoundly foolish script filmed with a shaky cam, a movie that goes to great pains to explain how many cameras there are and where they’re placed in a room, only to drop that conceit and show us unexplained subjective shots.

but having one exorcist be a priest and a doctor, able to bring vital signs monitors into the basement, bedroom or wherever the exorcism is to take place, adds an ER’s urgency to this — sort of an “I need 400 cc’s of holy water, STAT!” effect. there are some gripping images and one hair-raising moment.

It’s not enough, of course, and the ending is such a cheat that you’ll be fighting back the urge to boo the closing credits.

‘It’s like that little girl has just flipped a switch in David’s brain and he’s more in love with his wife than ever. He’s been cooking romantic dinners for Victoria – something he hasn’t done since they were married,” the source added.

But Lohan is not the only star in Hollywood who’s allegedly walked out of a store with some big ticket items and without putting down any form of payment. the sticky-fingered trend among celebrities has left many wondering for decades: What’s the point of slipping a diamond necklace in your $4,000 Louis Vuitton tote when you could easily afford it?

Psychiatrists and experts have shed light on the subject over the years. after Winona Ryder’s shoplifting spree at Saks Fifth Avenue in 2001, for example, Dr. Heather Krell of UCLA compared the impulse to steal with the drive to become famous. “in order to be a celebrity you have to take lots of chances,” she explained on Good Morning America. “you have to believe in yourself and that you’re going to prevail and you have to get caught up in the moment. And it certainly seems that that’s part of shoplifting.” Dr. Carole Lieberman, a Beverly Hills psychiatrist with famous kleptomaniac clients, added to ABC News: “It goes deeper than whether or not they can afford what they shoplift. usually a kleptomaniac is feeling a loss, a depression, which is what they’re trying to fill up with their stolen goods.”

And Lindsay Lohan appears to be a classic case of a celebrity shoplifter suffering from something else besides privileged character syndrome. having grown up in the epicenter of Hollywood’s dizzying milieu of fame, fortune, and temptation, the promising actress began to flounder personally just as her career was really taking off. though she’s fresh out of rehab at the Betty Ford Clinic, Lohan’s recent theft accusations may indicate she still has deeper issues to resolve; especially considering TMZ’s report that she had more than enough cash in her wallet on that ill-fated day to purchase the necklace she allegedly swiped.

The 63-year-old actress split from the actor – with who she has sons Jack, 21, and Miles, 18 – last December after 23 years together and admits she is amazed by how much their separation shocked people.

Susan – who also has 25-year-old daughter Eva Amurri from a previous relationship – said: "People were coming up to me in the street and saying, 'I cried and I cried when I heard.' Well, I was sadder. I didn't think it would ever happen either."

Susan married fellow student Chris Sarandon in 1967, divorcing 12 years later, and decided never to tie the knot again as she thought her relationships would be stronger without an official union – something she is now uncertain of.

She explained: "I thought that if you didn't get married you wouldn't take each other for granted as easily.

"I don't know if after twentysomething years that was still true."

Despite her sadness, the 'Lovely Bones' actress believes her relationship with Tim had run its course.

She added to Stella magazine: "You bring people into your life at certain times. Maybe you have a relationship to have children and you realise that it's fulfilled after that point."

Actress Vanessa Hudgens’ new film ‘Beastly’ has been deferred to avoid a clash with beau Zac Efron’s upcoming movie.

Hudgens has teamed up with Alex Pettyfer and Mary-Kate Olsen for the modern version of the classic ‘Beauty and the Beast’ fairytale, which was scheduled to release on July 30 (10).

According to the Hollywood reporter, the flick has been delayed until March 2011 after movie bosses found that the release date clashed with the launch of Efron’’s upcoming ‘Charlie St. Cloud’, reports the Daily Star.

Lindsay Lohan already arrived at the Los Angeles International Airport last Saturday. She came from Heathrow airport in London via British Airways.

There were a lot of cameramen, press and paparazzi who are trying to get a scoop on Lindsay Lohan’s every move. but thankfully, on Lohan’s part, she was able to evade most of them as she exited through the second floor of the LA International Airport. The floor was actually meant for the departure area.

At the arrivals area, there were three personnel who looked like bodyguards stationed at the airport’s arrival side gate. However, the actress did not appear in any of the gates. aside from that, there was also a black escalade that was seen at the front of the airport’s arrivals area. for an hour or so, this black escalade was parked, thus the assumption that someone as big as Lohan will be using it after getting out of the airport. but no Lindsay Lohan went inside the vehicle.

One source told the Access Hollywood that Lohan is already at Los Angeles prior to the flight known by the public. She headed home one day earlier from her jaunt in Europe probably to escape the press.

Stewart presented a montage of horror films with Twilight co-star Taylor Lautner and admits she found speaking in front of Hollywood’s elite “daunting”.

The nervous actress drew criticism for coughing and clearing her throat in the middle of her speech. But she insists her stumble could have been much worse.

she explains, “I wouldn’t have been able to finish the sentence had I not gone (and cleared my throat). then I would’ve gotten more criticism for not being able to speak at the Oscars – which is worse than clearing your throat at the Oscars. It’s all good. There are a few things that replay in my head like, oh that happened, why? Why?

“A lot of it I find funny. The coughing I did find funny. this is going to baffle some people, but I was so proud of myself that night. I didn’t fall down or anything!”
