Staten Island Advance, October 12, 2010 7:57 p.m.

Defending PSAL champion Susan Wagner was 1-3 entering the day.

But after picking up a forfeit victory after a Port Richmond player was ruled ineligible and then knocking off Curtis on Tuesday at Rab’s, the Falcons are now 3-2.

The A game came down to the last bowlers and wasn’t decided until Falcon anchor Sean Feldman finished with a 215 in a 819-816 triumph as the junior was joined by Matt Fazio’s 230 and Mike Tellefsen’s 195.

The Warriors kept things close after big games from Naiquan Favors (224), Daniel Terranova (213), Lou Parisi (193) and William Rosenkranz (186).

Another narrow game in the B went in Curtis’ favor with a 684-671 win as Reggie Owens shot a 193. SW countered with Josh Herrmann’s 189 and Brandon Jacobowitz’s 186.

Susan Wagner encountered few problems in the decisive C game as all four bowlers — Joseph DaSilva (216), Feldman (213), Fazio (212) and Tellefsen (203) — finished over 200 in the 844-747 win. Rosenkranz (195), Parisi (192) and Terranova (187) rolled well in the loss.
