Liberty Ross wants to work it out with Rupert Sanders
Liberty Ross isn’t throwing away her marriage to director Rupert Sanders just yet.
Sanders publicly admitted to cheating on his actress/model wife with actress Kristen Stewart. The explosive scandal made headlines when the wayward duo were photographed having what could only be dubbed a ‘steamy make-out session.’ Both parties made public apologies about their behavior, with the hopes of keeping their personal relationships with their partners intact.
Ross, who also starred in the film “Snow White and the Huntsman” where Sanders and Stewart met, enlisted in the help of an attorney, but is said to want to reconcile with Sanders. Her goal at the end of the day is to work things out with her husband and keep their marriage and family together. The couple have two young children.
Earlier this week, Ross and Sanders were photographed together leaving a corporate building. Sources say these pictures were taken of the couple after an appointment with a marriage and family therapist.
Ross was devastated when she discovered her director husband had been having an affair with Stewart, but despite the pain he’s caused her, she is adamant in trying again. Ross has yet to be seen wearing her wedding ring, and is desperate for answers involving the situation. She wants reassurance that what Sanders did was a one-time thing and was a mistake that he won’t make again.
Sources claimed Rupert feared Liberty would leave him for good following the scandal.
An insider said, “Rupert is willing to do absolutely anything and everything he can to save his marriage, he realizes this is the worst mistake of his life, and he cannot believe he was so stupid.”
Kristen Stewart has cancelled an appearance at the premiere of her upcoming movie “On The Road,” because she is too ashamed to be in public. Pattinson has a previously scheduled interview with good Morning America on August 15, and is reportedly refusing to answer any questions about his personal life involving the relationship between Kristen and Rupert.
“Robert was booked a long time ago to talk about Cosmopolis, and working with David Cronenberg,” the source told Gossip Cop. “He doesn’t talk about his personal life.”
Jon Stewart and his team at The Daily Show reportedly snagged an earlier date and interview with Pattinson, set for August 13.
In the past, Pattinson has made it clear that he does not disclose information about his personal life in interviews.
“My private life is off-limit. I’ve never spoken about my flirts, I’m not a man for short and superficial love affairs. I don’t talk about my relationships with female friends, not to mention how I don’t talk about my relationship with Kristen Stewart, an actress I admire because she’s a real person, and a real actress,” he told Italy’s Style magazine in March 2011.
