Fans turn out for Gaga in Sydney

Loyal Lady Gaga fans awaiting her arrival at a Sydney hotel have been rewarded, with the pop star spending more than 15 minutes posing for photos and signing autographs.

The singer dazzled her fans, known as ‘little monsters’, when she turned up on Sunday night wearing a floor-length, jewel-encrusted gown, beige platform heels, sunglasses and teal hair.

Gaga arrived in a black van from Sydney Airport, having flown in from Brisbane where she performed three shows.

One pregnant fan got her grinning after she autographed her notepad.

‘I’d have you sign my belly, but probably … ,’ the fan said, as they both broke into laughter.

Asking if she was excited to be back in Australia, Gaga replied demurely, ‘yes, thanks’.

‘She’s so nice,’ many commented, as the star stopped to give people hugs and pose for photos.

Forty-eight-year-old Adrian Aldrey says he’s been a fan ‘since the beginning’ and it’s because of three things: ‘creativity, individuality and she writes her own music’.

He was desperate that she see his Lady Gaga spray-painted ute during her stay. it took him two years and $60,000 ($25,000 to paint and $35,000 for the ute) to finish the car.

Before going into her hotel in The Rocks, Gaga did her signature ‘monster claw’ and blew kisses to her Aussie monsters.

Gaga will perform in Sydney on June 21, 23 and 24, before heading to Melbourne, Perth and Auckland.
