Drake has announced his 2012 tour dates. The Take Care superstar will be starting off his tour in Miami on Valentine’s Day. Fellow Cash Money recording artist, Nicki Manaj, will be dropping her new album on Valentine’s Day as well.

MTV News reported that the tour will stop in over 17 states in the United States. The tour will be stopping in major party locations such as New Orleans, Austin and San Diego. The tour even includes some college campuses.

It has not been announced when the tickets will go on sale for the tour.

Drake is calling this tour “Club Paradise,” and Drake will be playing smaller venues instead of large stadiums. Drake said in an interview with MTV that he had to fight for this tour. Many people wanted Drake to sell out stadiums but he wanted this tour to be for the fans, for the people that had supported the rapper since day one.

After Drake finishes up his tour here in the United States, the rapper will then head to Europe for another string of tour dates.

Pitchfork reported that A$AP Rocky and Kendrick Lamar will open the tour for Drake. Pitchfork also has the entire tour dates posted on their website.

Drake is also currently working on a mix tape with Rick Ross. The mix tape is set to drop sometime during the Take Care tour.
